Some combined factors such as coverage, location, network traffic and the type of data being transmitted have can have an impact on your data speeds.
- The model of smartphone you are using
- Available network technology, e.g. 2G, 3G, 4G, LTE, 5G
- The websites/applications being accessed
- The time of day
- Network congestion
- Other factors in the transmission path from your device to the Internet endpoint that you are accessing
- The cell tower or area is experiencing more data usage than normal
- Coverage limitations, due to terrain, weather, foliage, buildings, indoor use, signal strength, customer equipment.
Also, the download/upload speed really depends on the country’s network infrastructure. You can expect more or less the average Internet speed in the country you are using.
The most common reason for slow Internet speed is the quality of the mobile operator’s coverage. Some operators can provide a good quality of signal, some operators do something else.
If you notice a low internet speed, try rebooting your phone first. Then check the internet speed again and send us screenshots of the internet speed with enabled and disabled LTE mode. We appreciate in advance your cooperation.
